On Monday, March 24, former Valdosta High School standout Essence Cody’s current collegiate team the Alabama Crimson Tide lost 111-108 against the Maryland Terrapins in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Xfinity Center, this was the first game against the Maryland Terrapins during the championship.

Essence Cody’s hometown is Valdosta and game position is forward.
