There were 60 multiracial students enrolled in Montgomery County school district in the 2022-23 school year, 13.2% more than the previous year, according to the Georgia Department of Education.

Data showed that Montgomery County school district welcomed 870 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 6.9% of the student body to be the second least represented ethnicity in the county's school district.

This is the only school district located within Montgomery County, with its main office in Mt. Vernon.

As of 2024, Georgia has an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 15:1, which is better than the national average of 16:1. The state has its best student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1 in pre-kindergarten and middle school grades, while high school has an average ratio of 17:1.
