Raymond Wilkes McKinnon, born November 15, 1957, in Adel

Raymond Wilkes McKinnon, born November 15, 1957, in Adel, Georgia, is a versatile actor, writer, director, and producer. He is known for his roles in Apollo 13 (1995), O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000), and as Lincoln Potter in Sons of Anarchy (2011). McKinnon co-founded Ginny Mule Pictures with his wife, Lisa Blount, and Walton Goggins. Their production company produced the Academy Award-winning short film The Accountant (2001). McKinnon also created and directed the TV series Rectify (2013-2016), which won a Peabody Award. His career spans film and television, earning him numerous accolades, including Independent Spirit Award nominations and a win for Mud (2014). McKinnon graduated from Valdosta State University and remains connected to his roots in Adel, Georgia, where his journey in the arts began.
