Imagine Thomasville recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Army Recruiting Station in Thomasville, Georgia. Located at 15155 U.S. Hwy 19 S Ste D, this station has been part of the community for several decades and is one of five stations in South Georgia under the Valdosta Recruiting Company.

SSG Derek May, a recruiter at the station, highlighted the community's potential: "Thomasville is a community full of potential," he said. "With its strong community ties, local schools, and motivated workforce, we are able to connect with individuals who may be interested in exploring rewarding career opportunities with the Army."

The recruiting station actively engages with local schools by hosting informational tables and presentations to provide insights into Army careers. The mission is to guide local men and women in exploring careers in both the U.S. Army and Army Reserve.

For those interested in learning more about opportunities with the Army, SSG Derek May can be contacted at 229-379-3049 or through www.goarmy.com.

Imagine Thomasville expressed enthusiasm for supporting organizations like the Army Recruiting Station that connect with those looking to build a future with the Army.
