There were 229 fifth grade students enrolled in Irwin County schools in the 2022-23 school year, 1.3% more than the previous year, according to reports from the Georgia Department of Education.

Irwin County Elementary School was the only school in the county during the 2022-23 school year.

Within Irwin County schools, the highest student count was found in eighth grade, with the smallest class sizes seen in 11th grade.
