Berrien County schools welcomed 470 eighth grade students in 2022-23 school year

There were 470 eighth grade students enrolled in Berrien County schools in the 2022-23 school year, 1.7% more than the previous year, according to reports from the Georgia Department of Education.

Berrien Middle School was the only school in the county during the 2022-23 school year.

Within Berrien County schools, the highest student count was found in ninth grade, with the smallest class sizes seen in 12th grade.

Statewide, Berrien County ranked 89th in enrollment numbers, with a total of 5,846 students enrolled in the 2022-23 school year. It was ranked 92nd the year before.
