Explore Georgia, the official destination marketing organization of the state, has announced that Georgia's tourism sector is anticipating a substantial uplift in 2024 with the launch of several new hotels. These forthcoming additions are designed to cater to diverse traveler preferences, thereby broadening the state's hospitality offerings and contributing to Georgia's economic growth.
According to a press release by Explore Georgia, one such hotel is Signia by Hilton Atlanta, which is slated for opening in January 2024. Local officials view this as a significant development for downtown Atlanta. The hotel will feature 976 rooms and provide direct access to the Georgia World Congress Center. It is also conveniently located near popular venues such as Mercedes-Benz Stadium and State Farm Arena. In addition to an array of dining options, the establishment aims to offer various amenities including a spa and fitness center, as well as extensive meeting spaces. Reservations are currently open for stays commencing January 15, 2024.
In another press release from Explore Georgia, it was announced that Cloudland at McLemore Resort Lookout Mountain - part of the Curio Collection by Hilton - is set to open its doors in February 2024. This resort will house 245 rooms atop Lookout Mountain in Rising Fawn, Georgia. Guests can enjoy mountaintop golf courses, a spa, and 20,000 square feet of event space. The resort boasts stunning views of McLemore Cove and the Blue Ridge Mountains from its elevation of 2,000 feet. Reservations for stays beginning May 1, 2024 are now being accepted.
According to yet another press release by Explore Georgia, Trilith Guesthouse - affiliated with the Marriott Tribute Portfolio - is scheduled for opening in January 2024. Located at the entrance of Town at Trilith in Fayetteville, Georgia and adjacent to Trilith Studios, this boutique hotel offers 193 rooms including apartment-style studios and one-bedroom suites. The hotel will feature amenities such as a street-level restaurant, rooftop bar, culinary studio, and indoor/outdoor event spaces that span more than 17,000 square feet. Reservations are available from February 1, 2024.
