73.9% of Colquitt County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 45,800 citizens living in Colquitt County in 2021, 73.9% were old enough to vote, equating to 33,828 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 16,554 were male, constituting 48.9%, and 17,274 were female, making up 51.1%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Colquitt County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 76.2%.
