Census Bureau: 76.2% of people in Thomas County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 45,669 citizens living in Thomas County in 2021, 76.2% were old enough to vote, equating to 34,794 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 16,243 were male, constituting 46.7%, and 18,551 were female, making up 53.3%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Thomas County during 2021 was the same as the state average, which stands at 76.2%.
