Captain Jeff Talley with Lowndes County Fire Rescue was recently recognized by the Valdosta Elks Lodge as a Public Safety Office of the Year nominee.
Captain Talley has been in the fire service for 28 years. He has been the lead instructor for 4 consecutive recruit classes with Lowndes County Fire Rescue. Captain Talley works extremely hard to stay current on all new medical standards and continues to have a very high pass rate. He's been instrumental in the success of Lowndes County Fire Rescue and its expansion. He exemplifies hard work and dedication and is always willing to step in and lend a hand.
