We knew we were blessed as a health system and community when Dr. David Hardy, vascular surgeon, joined our team! But we will let this review speak for itself.

"I'm in Charlotte, NC got the call my baby sister is in ER with a DVT in Valdosta. Doctor is trying to decide if surgery is necessary. I made it in record time but missed her going into OR by 10 minutes. She came out and Dr. David Hardy immediately found me. He didn't leave her side or my side as a matter of fact and 45 minutes later determined she had to go back to OR. He encouraged me to go get rest because it's going to be a while, this is the middle of the night. He kept me updated all through her surgery and met me at the door when she came out. He took the time to show me everything that was going on, what he did in the OR on video! He was the kindest surgeon I have ever met and I have worked with Ortho and Neuro surgeons for over 30 years. His compassion and caring for his patients is so obvious. He won't stop until it's right and he knows they will be ok. Dr. Hardy I hope you see this! You will forever be in my thoughts and prayers for the remainder my life. You have a God given talent and will be blessed with many jewels in your crown one day! The people of Valdosta and SGMC are very lucky to have such a caring doctor on their team. You saved my baby sister's life and I am forever grateful! "
