Last week, Lowndes County Fire Rescue & Lowndes County, GA 911 staff participated in the Emergency Operations Center/Incident Command System Interface course at the Lowndes County Emergency Operations Center.
This course allowed emergency management and response personnel to develop an Incident Command System (ICS)/Emergency Operations Center (EOC) interface for their communities. The course reviews ICS and EOC characteristics, responsibilities, and functions and depends on activities and group discussions to formulate an interface.
We are incredibly proud of these two departments and their willingness to continuously train to ensure they are ready to help when residents are in need.
