Due to the recent rain in #lowndescountga, our local rivers are full‼️

Regardless of whether the parking areas at the boat ramps are usable and/or the river is accessible, the water flows are extremely high. It is not safe to be in the water for recreation purposes. At these levels and flows, even experienced paddlers and boaters can find themselves in trouble, which in turn causes first responders to have to place themselves in danger to come to their rescue. 

So it is not advisable to be in the river until levels drop significantly.
