Lowndes County Bird Supper 2023
The 2023 Lowndes County Bird Supper was a huge hit in Atlanta last night. From Governor Brian Kemp to our local delegation and people from all across Georgia, we had over 260 people in attendance and had the opportunity to show off Lowndes County.
We appreciate the Valdosta State University Faculty Jazz Band for playing and Woodstack BBQ Tavern for bringing the flavor of Lowndes County with the delicious Quail dinner.
Last night's Bird Supper was in memory of the Honorable, H. Arthur” Mac” McLane who passed away in May of 2022. Judge McLane was instrumental in the start of the Lowndes County Bird Supper over 50 years ago and supported the event throughout the years.
