We have an Arctic cold air outbreak on the way, bringing significant cold air, and temperatures dipping into the single digits. Significantly colder temperatures are expected Friday through Christmas Day.
While northern folks might be used to this weather, we aren't! Don't forget:
Protect People: Dress in layers and wear a hat and gloves. It is important to try and stay out of the wind and to stay dry. Remember to check on young children and the elderly who are most sensitive to cold weather.
Cover sensitive plants, and bring in pets!
Protect pipes, consider dripping faucets connected to external pipes!
Use caution heating your home!
