The Lowndes County Emergency Management activated the Emergency Management Operation Center at 2pm today. We’ve starting to see tropical storm force gusts in South Lowndes County as #TropicalStormNicole moves into our area. Residents are encouraged to stay off the road ways and shelter in place for the duration of the storm.
