Census Bureau: 2.3% of people in Moultrie identified as multi-racial in 2020

Of the 14,086 citizens living in Moultrie in 2020, 97.7 percent said they were only one race, while 2.3 percent said they were two or more races, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained in March.

Of those who said they were one race, the majority identified as african american.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
