October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Each year in the United States, roughly 255,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer, and 42,000 women die from the disease. Most breast cancers are found in women who are 50 years of age or older; however, breast cancer also affects younger women. Women are not alone in their susceptibility to breast cancer. About 1 out of every 100 breast cancer diagnoses in the United States is found in a man. Learn more by visiting https://www.cdc.gov/.../basic_info/what-is-breast-cancer.htm.
