Berrien Primary School issued the following announcement on April 1.
Mrs. Rice's 2nd-grade class was supposed to go on a field trip today to the Strawberry Patch. We have been rained out TWICE now. So we made the best out of an unlucky, rainy day. We went to the Los Angeles Zoo on a virtual field trip. We were able to observe and ask questions about some animals we did not know that much about. Thanks to technology we had an exciting adventure!
