Ben Hill County Schools recently issued the following announcement.
NEW Pre-K and NEW Kindergarten students for 2022-2023 can be registered at Central
Registration on March 14th from 8:00-6:00. *Note Current 2021-2022 Ben Hill County Pre-K
students are not considered New Kindergarteners and do not need to be registered.
Walk ins are welcome but if you would like to schedule a time to limit you wait, please call Central
Registration at 229-409-5575 to make an appointment for Monday. Central Registration is located at
the corner of 406 West Suwanee and Longstreet Street (we ask that only the parent/guardian and
enrolling student attend the appointment)
Pre-K only: Registration may take place prior to student’s 4th birthday and 4-year check-up. Student
must be 4 or 5 years old on or before September 1, 2022. Ben Hill County Pre-K is a Lottery funded
school whose schedule coincides with the Ben Hill County School System. Ben Hill County Pre-K
enrollment is based on a first come first served basis.
Kindergarten only: Registration may take place prior to student’s 5th birthday but student must be 5
years old on or before September 1, 2022.
Please bring the following student documents with you on Monday:
*Certified Birth Certificate *Social Security Card
*Current Immunization (form 3231) *EEDN (form 3300)
*Medicaid or EBT (if applicable) *Custody paper (if applicable)
*Proof of Residency (light/cable/internet/something that shows service to home)
