Genbusiness006

Waycross-Ware County Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Waycross and Ware County Election Debate Commission 2021 Debate/Candidate Forum

Tuesday, October 19, 2021 6:30 PM EST

Community Room

315 Plant Avenue

Waycross, GA 31501

As we did during the special election for Sheriff, we will be hosting an election debate/forum to help share the candidates with a larger audience in Waycross on Tuesday, October 19th at the Train Depot community room at 6:30 PM.

We invite all candidates for contested districts to participate in the event which is open to the public. We will be sending formal invitation letters to such candidates via mail at the registered address listed with the Elections Board.

We hope the candidates will take a moment to check out the event from the Sheriff's election to see we are serious and even-handed. We hope you will set aside that Tuesday evening to be a part of our regular election event. If only one candidate attends from a district, they will be given the floor similar to the Sheriff's event this past Spring.

If any are connected with the following (updated as more qualify), please tag them in the comments.
