Coastal Pines Technical College recently issued the following announcement.
Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation annual golf tournament, the John P. Pike Memorial Golf Tournament, will be held on October 22, 2021 at the Okefenokee Country Club in Blackshear. The annual tournament raises money for much needed scholarships for the students of Coastal Pines Technical College.
Larry Paulk, Chairman of the Board of Trustees for CPTC Foundation, and Stephanie Roberts, Executive Director for College Advancement, are excited to announce that Memorial Satilla Health has come on board as a Platinum Sponsor for this year’s tournament with a donation of $5,000.
“It means so much to have the support of Memorial Satilla Health here in Waycross. A large majority of our scholarships go to students who are training to be in the medical field; many of whom will go to work for Memorial Satilla Health after they graduate. We are proud to be partners them to train and provide essential workers for our area.”, states Stephanie Roberts, Executive Director for College Advancement.
