Census Bureau: 83.1 percent of people in Wheeler County were old enough to vote in 2019

Of the 7,928 citizens living in Wheeler County in 2019, 6,584 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 2,387 of those people were female and 4,197 were male.
