Census Bureau: 76 percent of people in Lowndes County were old enough to vote in 2019

Of the 115,364 citizens living in Lowndes County in 2019, 87,682 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 45,625 of those people were female and 42,057 were male.
