Of the 394 people living in Scotland in 2019, 45.7 percent (180) were women and 54.3 percent (214) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Georgia Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 126-to-99. In the 65 and over age range, there were 26 females and 26 males.
