Cost of college went up for all students at Brewton-Parker College

Tuition and fees rose 2.8 percent for 2018-19 at Brewton-Parker College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Georgia students paid $18,240 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $500 more than the $17,740 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 99 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 164 students received grants or scholarships totaling $2.1 million and 138 students took out student loans totaling more than $773,045.

Including all undergraduates (826), 758 students used grants or scholarships totaling $6.2 million, and 374 students took out $2.5 million in federal student loans.
