Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College

In-state tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Georgia residents paid $2,794 to attend the two-year public institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Non-residents paid 76.4 percent more than residents this year, or $4,930. Their price tag was unchanged from $4,930 in 2017-18.

About 99 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Georgia residents. And about 1 percent are residents of other states.

Data shows 92 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 135 students received grants or scholarships totaling $970,576 and 5 students took out student loans totaling more than $17,245.
