48 percent of applicants to Thomas University were admitted for fall 2018

At Thomas University, 73 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 55 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Thomasville enrolled 1,310 students in fall 2018, including 717 in undergraduate and 593 in graduate programs, data shows. 3.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

42 percent of undergraduates are residents of Georgia, and 42 percent are residents of other states. 16 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (32 percent) and Black or African American (14 percent).

The school admitted 48 percent of the 391 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 50 percent enrolled.
