On Tuesday, March 25, former Berrien High School standout Savannah Barfield’s current college team, the Valdosta State Blazers, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Georgia Southwestern State Hurricanes.

The game took place at Lady Canes Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Hurricanes this season.

The Blazers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 1 p.m. at Steel’s Diamond at Blazer Park against Mississippi Choctaws.
