On Friday, March 28, former Berrien High School standout Savannah Barfield’s current college team, the Valdosta State Blazers, won 5-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Mississippi Choctaws.

The game took place at Steel’s Diamond at Blazer Park. This was their first matchup against the Choctaws this season.

The Blazers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 3:20 p.m. at Steel’s Diamond at Blazer Park against Mississippi Choctaws.
