On Tuesday, March 18, former Colquitt County High School standout Carli Pearson’s current college team, the Winthrop Eagles, won 4-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the College of Charleston Cougars.

The game took place at Patriots Point Athletics Complex. This was their first matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 4 p.m. at Brinkley Softball Stadium against Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs.
