On Tuesday, March 25, former Cook High School standout Madison Griffis’ current college team, the Georgia Southwestern State Hurricanes, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Valdosta State Blazers.

The game took place at Lady Canes Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Blazers this season.

The Hurricanes’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26 at 1 p.m. at Lady Canes Softball Field against West Alabama Tigers.
