Imagine Thomasville recently celebrated the graduation of Leadership Thomas Class 41 in Thomasville, Georgia. The group consisted of 21 individuals from various professional and civic backgrounds who completed a year-long program focused on leadership development, civic engagement, and community growth.

The participants engaged in activities such as tours of local institutions, policy discussions with civic leaders, workshops, and service projects. These experiences aimed to enhance their understanding of leadership within different sectors.

A significant component of their training was a community project that involved supporting Halcyon Home’s mission to aid women survivors of domestic violence. The class developed a Financial Literacy Program addressing banking, credit building, and budgeting to provide residents with tools for financial stability.

Esther Marie Lawrence, Executive Director of the Thomasville-Thomas County Chamber of Commerce, expressed pride in the graduates: “We are incredibly proud of Class 41. Their commitment to personal and professional growth, combined with a shared passion for our community, reflects the very best of what Leadership Thomas stands for.”

Leadership Thomas is an initiative by Imagine Thomasville and the Thomasville-Thomas County Chamber of Commerce. It aims to develop informed and connected leaders in the region. Graduates become part of an active alumni network contributing to the future development of Thomasville.
