Back Porch Realty and Southern Comfort Homes have announced their expansion into Boston, Georgia, and the greater Thomas County area. The companies aim to bring a relationship-focused approach to real estate and housing, emphasizing legacy, education, and community impact.

The move is both strategic and personal for the businesses, reflecting over 50 years of family ties to the region. According to Jackie Rogers, Owner of Back Porch Realty and Southern Comfort Homes, “Boston represents a place where tradition and forward-thinking progress intersect. Our goal is to honor our family legacy while introducing a real estate experience built on trust, comfort, and meaningful relationships.”

Back Porch Realty offers local market expertise with an emphasis on transparency and education throughout the buying or selling process. Southern Comfort Homes provides housing solutions with hands-on support from selection through ownership. Together, they seek to deliver a comprehensive service that extends beyond standard transactions.

The companies will serve residents across Thomasville, Boston, and Thomas County by connecting them with various housing options such as single-family homes, first-time buyer opportunities, workforce housing, rural properties, and investment prospects. They also link clients with local lenders, inspectors, contractors, insurance providers, and information about schools and amenities that support economic development in the area.

Starting February 14, 2026, Back Porch Realty and Southern Comfort Homes will hold homebuyer and seller workshops every other month on Saturdays. These sessions will focus especially on workforce housing education intended to help strengthen financial stability for local residents.

Beyond real estate services, the companies plan to support small businesses by promoting job access and connecting individuals with employment resources in an effort to contribute positively to the local economy.

Jackie Rogers commented on recent ribbon cuttings marking this expansion: “These moments remind us why we do what we do. They energize us to continue serving our clients and neighbors with excellence.”

Looking ahead, Back Porch Realty and Southern Comfort Homes intend to grow within both traditional real estate and manufactured home markets while expanding educational programming for buyers and sellers. Their long-term goal is to empower communities through increased access to housing opportunities and enhanced local employment resources.
