Pearson Elementary School welcomed the largest number of fifth grade students among county schools, registering 83 students during the 2023-24 school year.
Within Atkinson County schools, the highest student count was found in first grade, with the smallest class sizes seen in 11th grade.
Statewide, Atkinson County ranked 117th in enrollment numbers, with a total of 1,510 students enrolled in the 2023-24 school year. It was ranked 120th the year before.
